Quiet and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, bright and spacious. The Pestana Levante Beach & Golf Hotel offers 88 rooms, including 3 suites. Most of the rooms have direct sea view and 8 of them have inland views. The ground floor rooms have a terrace and those on the 1st and 2nd floors have balconies.

Well situated hotel, ideal for beach and close to town. Lovely gardens and pool. Spacious and clean.
However on half board we were expecting a buffet at the evening meal. Instead were given a set menu with a limited choice of only three dishes. Also not a lot of choice at breakfast.
Understand that the hotel is closing shortly for refurbishment and this was reflected in the lack of choice with the meals.
Wine very expensive - 15 Euros for bottle of cheapest house wine.
Other than food and drink an excellent holiday.

The location and grounds of this hotel cannot be faulted but the inside is definately not 4* quality. The bedrooms are very dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. It is not a patch on the other 4* hotels in the immediate vacinity or it's sister hotel the Pestana Viking which is about one mile away. It advertises Wifi but it is very limited and is chargable. Again the other 4* hotels in the area including the Viking does not charge for wifi. The Hotel is definantely not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as there is nowhere that can be accessed without going up or down steps. The staff in the hotel were all very pleasant and courtious and the gardener was an exceptionally pleasant young man who had a good knowledge of the exotic plants in the garden.
Room Tip: The poolside rooms are in the best postion as they have a large terrace with private table, chairs and sun loungers, a nice view across the pool and gardens and a fantastic view of the bay at Armacao da Pera

“ I have been to this hotel before and have always enjoyed my visit. The hotel has a very nice pool area and is ideally located for the beach. The only negative thing I would have to say is that having been there now for a few years it is perhaps in need of a little refurbishment.
“ Top Tip: Not really as I have been to this hotel before on a few occasions.
