“ Really excellent hotel which supassed our expectations in every Respect. Beautiful grounds, rooms and food is amazing. Location perfect and staff couldn't do enough to accomodate us. Would not hesitate to go back and strongly reccomend thishotel for a real peaceful relaxing slow quiet break - not for those who need constant stimulation and probably not ideal for kids - too quiet.
“ Top Tip: Beach is great for collecting shells and you are given free bottled water when you arrive on the beach. The half board set dinner was always wonderful and I am a fussy eater - wouldn't go outside the hotel.

“ My only negative comment regarding the hotel would be the mark up put for booking 9 holes of golf via them. If booked direct with the course the round would be 50 euro's per person. The hotel charged an extra 20 euro's per person which we did not discover until we saw the price list at the golf club. The hotel therefore charged a 40% mark up for making one phone call which i think is very disappointing

“ Generally a good and well run hotel but more like a 4 star than 5 star. Note that he beach isn't great (small, steep and with course sand) and the food in the restaurants is expensive - much better to get out to experience the real portugal - but you will need a car or taxi.
“ Top Tip: Mr Grillo restaurant in Porches is well worth a visit
