This hotel was excellent throught. Very professional, spotlessly clean and a true luxury.
The pool staff were very friendly and helpful.The staff in general were were very good. More professional than friendly but that was fine.
The staff in the bars were the exception as one had to chase them to get service in the lounge areas and they were more reactive than proactive.
The facilities were excellent and the huge swimming pool was a joy as was the bus service to the hotels section of the lovely Alvor beach.
The golf course at the hotel was outstanding and a pleasure to play.
This was a wonderful experience and I would gladly stay there again

The restaurants in the nearby town of Alvore are excellent.

“ Fantastic golf facilities. Stayed half board but could only eat in the one restaurant because Italian full - although subsequently found out you can book way in advance.

The quality of the food,the room and the facilities (particularly the pool and the 3 golf courses) were outstanding.
On the negative side some of the staff did not seem warm and friendly. As a customer I felt I was being tolerated.
For a hotel of this price and standard I expected to be made to feel special.

“ Lovely hotel, worth paying for a pool view room to be away from the road at the rear of the hotel. Excellent golf facilities for all abilities, few facilities for non golfers and not particularly family oriented.
