“ Situated in a residential area so free bus transfers into town and the beach a real bonus, although both are within easy walking distance. A basic hotel but with everything you need. Very friendly staff and good choice at breakfast. Good local ammenities - bars, restaurants and shops. Overall good value for money

“ ON ARRIVAL AT HOTEL WE WERE PLEASANTLY SUPRISED. THE RECEPETIONIST WAS ISOBELLE WAS VERY FRIENDLY.THE TWIN ROOM WAS CLEAN & COMFORTABLE. WE ALSO GOT TWO REMOTES ONE FOR AIRCON AND ONE FOR A TV. BREAKFAST WAS OK BUT IF YOU WANTED BACON & EGGS YOU HAD TO ASK THE WAITRESS FOR IT. THERE WAS A COURTESY BUS TO THE BEACH WHICH CAME IN VERY HANDY. ALSO THERE WAS THE PUBLIC BUSES WHICH WERE A LITTLE CONFUSING TO WORK OUT WHAT ROUTES THEY WERE ON BUT ONCE YOU GOT THE HANG OF THEM THEY WERE GREAT. YES, THE HOTEL IS OUT OF THE WAY BUT YOU CAN TAKE A TAXI OR USE THE BUSES. WE SPENT 10 DAYS AT THE HOTEL & HAD CLEAN TOWELS EVERYDAY. IF YOU WANT TO BE NEAR THE BEACH & NIGHTLIFE THIS ISN'T THE HOTEL FOR YOU.
“ Top Tip: TRY THE BAR NEXT TO THE HOTEL. NICE BAR SNACKS AND CHEAP DRINKS. THERE IS ALSO A LOVELY RESTUARANT ROUND THE CORNER(CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME)USED MAINLY BY THE LOCALS.

“ The hotel was just as described.The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were about 1.5 miles from the beach which was a good walk but we knew that before arriving. It was a good walk into town also. There was a very nice restaurant about 2 minutes away.The pool was in an enclosed area about 30 yards away. The pool looked a bit grim with green slime on sides. I wouldn't have got in it. There was an indoor pool but no-one seemed to use it.We walked miles on this holiday but really enjoyed where we stayed.

“ What a great holiday. We have just had two weeks at this great hotel. Staff were so friendly would help in anyway they could. Breakfast was great we asked for bacon and eggs, no problem although they do not advertise this you can have a cooked breakfast on request. We liked the fact that the hotel had a mix of nationalities. The hotel bus takes you to the beach or to Portimao, You can walk to the beach approx 20 mins, or ten minutes to the town. It was great mixing with the locals and trying our hand at the language. Having always stopped for many years in Albufeira we were really pleased we booked this hotel and can't wait to go back. Much of the time we had the pool to ourselves. This hotel is ideal for those who love to holiday and take in the local culture. We actually went to the airport on the train for our return flight and it was only four euro 85 well worth it.
“ Top Tip: We found a little pub/snackbar by the hotel we sat outside and watched the sun going down.
