“ This is a nice hotel next to the beach. It has a very large swimming pool and pleasant gardens. The breakfast buffet was nice and the hotel was near to all the bars and restaurants. The only drawback would be the fact that the fixtures and fittings were somewhat dated. More of a four star rating in my opinion.

“ This was our third visit to this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check into our room early which is always a bonus. We were on a B&B basis with a sea view room. The breakfast selection catered for everyones taste - excellent. The hotel in on the beach with just a few steps onto a long boardwalk along the beach with lots of cafes and restaurants. There is a large sea water pool which is heated, very refreshing.
We would recommend this hotel and we will be returning again next year.

“ Top Tip: We would recommend a restaurant All Beef, it was a short walk beyond to main street towards Praia de Vau. We were greated with a glass of bubbly, and a varied menu. We enjoyed our meal, and the wine was very reasonable.
Also the F Restaurant in the Avenida Tomas Cabreira (main street) we would recommend. You need to look for steps up onto the terrace restaurant overlooking the sea.

“ The hotel was very central to the town and beech. Staff were polite and accommodating. We would go back if it was cheaper.

Could not fault the hotel in any manner.

“ Top Tip: There was a variety of pups and restuarants, especially Irish bars, you could get a good pint of Kilkenny.

We have been to portugal before in 2009 and stayed at the same hotel. the hotel staff are friendly. nice clean rooms, clean towels and room cleaned every day. sea view room with balcony which was beautiful. We stayed bed and breakfast and to be fair, the breakfast was lovely. All good reviews for this hotel. there are also good shows on in the evenings.
