Amarilis Hotel

“ Hotel very close to entertainmt and beach. One bedroom apartment was big well equipped and clean and airy. The cleaner arrived every day except sunday with fresh towels and toilet paper. The staff were friendly and helpful. the mini market in the hotel was very handy for provisions and not too pricey. I was pleased with advice to ask for room with a pool and sea view as it was pleasant sitting on the balcony looking at this view. A nice wee garden also with benches placed within it.
check out at 12 noon but we were allowed to keep room until 1.30pm while waiting for our bus to take us t the airport. i would stay here again in the future.

“ Top Tip: A trip to alvor is a must. The taxi fare is 8 euro and this worked out as cheap as the bus fare and much more convenient. It would be worth going early having dinner and entertainment there then returning late.

“ Don't understand other's comments about room being 'tired'. Unless we got very luck and had one that was recently decorated!! Was very clean and fresh. No complaints whatsoever with room even without taking amazing cheap price we paid into account. Staff were lovely and friendly. What's not to like!!!!!
If you wanted to nit-pick, the pillows were slightly uncomfortable for my liking, but maybe not to others, and flickering light in kitchen was not attended to while we were there, but we did only mention it the once and just worked with it. Proper double bed was most welcome - as opposed to two singles pushed together. Very clean nice hotel and would recommend to Anyone. WOuld definitely stay here again.

“ Top Tip: Buses good. Beach about 5 mins away. Mick and Chris's bar good as was restaurent La Giaconda. Do take away aswell.
