“ We went to this hotel for the first time,we had our 4year old grandson with us and could not have picked a better place. we were given a two bedroom apartment although we had only booked a one bedroom. this was great as we had two bathrooms one ensuite. everyone of the staff could not be more helpful,and friendly. A very large pool area with loungers & brollies,2 kids pools & a large pool, the only thing was the large pool was very deep. For a deposit you can get a pool towel that you can hand into the laundry every day and get a fresh one, then get your money back at the end of your stay. I cannot praise this hotel highly enough,in fact we have changed our booking with Travel Republic to go back in September. We had a couple of cloudy,rainy days so the indoor pool as a godsend. there was a kids club which the wee one loved,also a play area. A courtesy bus is available every day to take you to local shops. GREAT PLACE>

“ Top Tip: Try the Patriomonia restaurant just out side the hotel.

“ Hotel was spotless.....wished we had checked out the 2 bedroom apts as they were much superior to our 1 bedroom apt.....will book a 2bed next time....will definitely go back!!

“ Top Tip: Il Timone Italian restaurant right next to hotel was excellent food/value.....The 'Titanic' restaurant in Prai do Roche was more up-market but faultless food/service....Atlantis restaurant was also excellent! Patrimonia pub/restaurant right next to hotel very friendly staff and excellent for watching football (1euro a large beer upt till7pm!!!)....Hotel's BBQ night was also well ran and very enjoyable. A great holiday.

“ This is a complex which presents itself as providing luxury accommodation and I would accept that the accommodation is very good. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment - with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area (should it be needed), 2 bathrooms and a good kitchen (oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, dishwasher but no washing machine). It was clean, spacious and well appointed. There was TV with BBC 1, Sky Sports 1, CNN and some film channels. The complex has a main building (backs on to the main road) and a smaller building at the front by the pool/ snack bar. There are few sea view rooms (you would have to be on the top floors). These apartments do suffer from the noise above as people move their furniture etc etc . The restaurant is ok, the bar is very, very disappointing (I guess most people drink in their rooms or go out) and the small shop is massively expensive. The place is close to the beach which is great and it is a shortish walk into
Praia Rocha and then Portimoa. However, my overwhelming feeling is, having stayed in plenty of other apartments in this area, that this is far too expensive for what it is.

“ Excellent service. Large 2 bed appartment, good facilities.
Room was available on arrival at 12.00 - 2 hours early.
Extended checkout to suit our taxi time gave us an extra 4 hours in our room at no extra charge.
Swiming pools, both indoor and outdoor were excellent. Pool bar drinks however were expensive.
Playground for kiddies was great
On site shop was expensive but very convenient for basic supplies
Overall opinion of our party was very good
