Tivoli Marina Portimao Hotel

“ The suite was spacious & clean. The service is excellent & it has its own car park. This is the third time we have used the hotel for a short break.
We have stayed at several of the hotels in Praia da Rocha but this is our favourite.

“ The Tivoli Marina is a stunning hotel situated adjacent to the beautiful marina. Excellent location next to the beach and various restaurants.

“ Top Tip: La Dolce Vita is a great italian restaurant within walking distance.

“ The hotel was excellent, room clean, food excellent, location overlooking the marina. The only very small negatives, you could end up with a small stroll around the marina for breakfast and if your looking for the lively end of Praia da Rocha you'll end up with a fair walk up the beach.

“ It is a nice hotel and has the added benefit of a nice location on the waters edge. All staff were excellent and at all times attentive to our needs. Our room, or suite, with a host of inroom facilities was a pleasant surprise.
Perhaps the only problem I should mention was the evening meal. When we booked, we thought it was with buffet meals, b/fast stayed throughout our 3 weeks vacation as a good mixed buffet but, after a few days the evening meal changed to table service.... with a decidedly short selection on offer. Either fish or meat which was always served in small portions, vegetables were also in short supply. No, I have to say that the evening meal was almost always a disappointment although, the pleasantness of the dining room staff did help to alleviate the lack of food on the plate...

“ Top Tip: Outside meals: try "O-Farol" a 2 minute walk along the beachfront from the hotel,
clean with excellent service, and reasonably priced meals.
