“ Very difficult to find - we had to go into a restaurant in Praia do Vau to ask for directions! Pool area a bit unkempt. However maid service extremely good (7 days a week) with clean towels every other day.
“ Top Tip: Alvor (ten minutes drive away) has a lovely beach and lots of restaurants.

“ Apartment a bit dated and bed quite hard but otherwise no problems. Kitchen had everything we needed (although strangely they provided a blender but no kettle!), good sized balcony, nice pool, free internet access in hotel, close to beach, several small restaurants and bus stop.

Top Tip:
If you love fish hop on the bus to Alvor and head to Fisherman's Rest - the Sardines grilled on the outdoor bbq were so tasty.
For relaxation in fab surroundings head to the No Solo Agua Club right on the beach front in Praia da Roche - a real chillout zone with great atmosphere and views.
