“ I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to stay in Quarteira. The staff were very polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. We got clean towels daily. The food was very good and we got waitress service every day due to the fact their was only a few guests staying. We couldnt fault the hotel or the staff at all. We had room 803, which was quite large and had a sea view. If you want a big balcony ask for a room on the first floor. We got told room 106 had a balcony you could play football on.

“ Top Tip: Bus station over the road if you fancy a trip out. we recommond the Barolo bar for the sangria and tapas. Its along the prom as you walk towards Vilamoura (lovely marina). The Klan bar again for sangria and the Karaoke. A trip to Zoomarine is worth it but book on line before you go, its cheaper.

“ Recently built hotel & built to a price. That said, it had all the creature comforts you need & was scrupulously clean. Rooms a bit small but big enough not to fall over the wife. Didnt care about the city view as I had no intention of spending my break looking out the window. En suite was fine & even had a bath ! Minimal toiletries so bring your own. Breakfast buffet as you would expect & plenty of it. In line with the other guests, I didnt trouble the bar or restaurant. Why would we when there is so much to explore along the promenade ? Both looked functional enough but I doubt will be used by anyone other than all inclusives. Couple of pools & an outside bar but with the fantastic beach 50 meteres away... Staff very friendly & efficient. Cant fault the hotel. It is what it is, 3 star, basic, cheap & clean. All you need in a tourist resort.

“ Top Tip: Some exceptional value on Quarteira promenade. My choice was Dutch owned Cafe Atlantico about hafway along. Clean, decent Dutch flavoured food & cheap Heineken ! There are a few shops on the prom & plenty cheap shoes/handbags for those who must be obeyed. Wednesday is market day & three or four appear around the market square. From there, take the 10 minute stroll into Vilamoura & pay more for less if you wish. The marina is nice enough, not exceptional but an excuse to hike the prices. Viamoura can be lively if that's what you want. Quarteira is not lively, kids friendly & will suit a more refined set.

“ The hotel was revamped three years ago and is showing signs of lack of upkeep such as the main door damaged and lights not working in the restaurant lift and by the pool.Saying this there was only 5 couples staying in the hotel whilst we were there. We found the rooms very clean and up to date with a flat screen T V 36 channels and a large bathroom. The main advantage was it was 50 mtrs from a lovely beach and a mile long flat promenade lined with shops and cafe,s.If you like a quiet holiday then this is the place for you.

“ Top Tip: A lovely sandy beach within yards of the hotel. Ask for a room high up to take advantage of the sea views.
