Good hotel, friendly staff, Courtesy bus to Tavira. Rooms slightly dated but good size.
Plenty of Parking - On N125 so good for overnighting when motoring from Portugal to Spain.
When we went in March no food at night but a local bar "Ana's" was acceptable.

“ Somewhere in the building is a piece of machinery which switched itself on at 6.30 in the morning and ran intermittently, sounding like a pump or electric elevator which switched itself off with a resounding 'clunk', then a few minutes silence before starting over again. This was extremely annoying.

Whilst The hotel has seen better days,the willing friendly staff coupled with top levels of cleanliness more than made up for the old fashioned fittings.
The live entertainment at night was good appealing to older people mostly (local folk dancers and a live band)and the bar prices were very competetive .
When in Portugal again will definitely stay there.

MATTRESSES HARD AS ROCK AND VERY PAINFUL TO SLEEP ON. MY SISTER AND I ENDED UP FOLDING BATHTOWELS AND BLANKETS UNDER OUR BOTTOM SHEETS TO TRY AND GET SOME SLEEP!!! As did my other two sisters in the next room.
No tea/coffee making facilities at all in rooms. We would have supplied our own tea/coffee if there had just been a kettle and a couple of mugs.
All staff encountered were very helpful and polite. I did leave a card for att. of the Manager with my comments.

An excellent family hotel with all the facilities needed and good staff. It is a bit out of town, but a bus service (free) is provided during the day into Tavira and the beach. Not so good for young people, it is some way out of town for night-life, and being situated on the very busy unlit N125 road getting in and out at night in a car can be a bit of a problem.
Get down to breakfast early if you want bacon or sausage!

“ The hotel is situated about 1/2 a mile from the main seafront street and is therefore a 15 minute walk through a mainly residential / apartment block area. Some building is still going on adjacent but we never hear anything.

Facilities include a pool on site, internet access (charge applies) and Alladino Grill - where delicious grilled meat and fish are served. The town of Tavira is at the hotel's doorstep. Also on offer is the Satsanga Spa with indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi (these are chargeable locally and rates include use of a towel).
“ Lovely. If you like cosy and familiar this is not for you as it is a big hotel, but anytime we did ask for info or anything else, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Also very clean and well placed for accessing all the bars and restaurants in Tavira
