“ Beautiful surroundings, very clean and very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful and always eager to oblige. Lacks personality - no activities or entertainment apart from a singer and a pianist. Loved not having the constant blare of music around the pool terraces - a truly relaxing experience.

“ Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Staff are very accomodating. Would have scored nearer 10 but really missed not having tea/ coffee making facilities in room and also ice had to be ordered with room service. Having said that, room service was very good and delivered promptly and was well presented.Will definately stay here again.
“ Top Tip: The italian restaurant at the bottom of the Marina steps is really good. The tuna pate they serve while you look at the menu is delicious.

“ Great hotel. Really nice rooms and facilities. Close to beach and restaurants... If I was being picky it could do with an adult only pool area as it can get overrun with kids... Wouldnt want to be there in July/august

Top Tip:
Check out falesia beach across the road from the hotel - cool beach bar... And if you want a daybed get up early and reserve one... Despite the magt claims they don't enforce the no reservation policy...
Akavit restaurant in the harbour definately worth a visit

2nd visit - just as good as the first.
The hotel is in an ideal location just off the beach and about 500 yards from the marina.
The rooms are great, the beds the biggest I've seen.
Plenty of choice in public areas, although some drinks etc. are quite expensive, albeit this is Vilamoura and everything is expensive in Vilamoura.
Good spa and gym attached.
“ Top Tip: 2nd time in mid-September. The weather seems to follow a familiar pattern...clear blue skies first thing, a bit of clouding over around midday and clearing up again mid-afternoon. Sometimes needed a jacket in the evening.
