Vila Gale Ampalius Hotel

“ The location of the Hotel is excellent , V close to all the amenities,Beach, Marina, Restaurants and some shops.
The superior Room we booked was small for 2 Adults and a Child so we had to upgrade at extra expense €20 a night extra.
The size of Superior Room needs to be amended, Superior must mean sea-view! not size of accomodation.
But we couldnt fault this Hotel in any other way, staff and facilities excellent.

“ Top Tip: Lots of lovely Restaurants and Bars within walking distance of Hotel and Marina is lovely.

“ Very clean.Good sized rooms with good facilities.They were cleaned each day with fresh linen once a week and clean towels every day.
The bar area is extensive and was well furnished. All the staff at the hotel were very efficient and friendly. They were keen to help. There were young old and disabled at the hotel all of whom were well catered for. We were a half board and found the food very good with great service. If there were any negatives then I would have to mention the lack of gravy,marmalade and the only sausage available at breakfast time mini frankfurters which could only described as horrible.
In conclusion the hotel was great value for money,well situated and close to all amenities.

“ Top Tip: There are numerous bars restaurants in the area. The best coffee is available at McDonald's and it is also the cheapest in the resort.

“ Excellent choice for being near Vilamoura marina and nightlife if you want it. A good choice of food for breakfast from a full English to a light weight continental. Reception staff very helpful and you don't have to check out until 12.00 noon and even of you are leaving later you can leave your luggage there.

“ Top Tip: Good Portuguese food at the Don Miguel - try the roast lamb - Ebilios own recipe- very tender and tasty. If you like middle of the road music go and listen to Bruno at hr Atlantic Bar also a great view of the Marina.
