The Vila Gale Ampalius is centrally located and only a short drive from some of the region's many golf courses. “ Have stayed in this hotel many times and generally found it to be of a high standard. However on this occassion there seemed to be fewer staff than usual and service was somewhat slower as a result. This though would not put me off visiting again. The location is superb, right on the beech front and no more than 5 minutes walk to some superb restaurants.
“ Top Tip: If you want the best meal in Vilamoura you have to go to Dom Miguel (opposite Mc Donalds) The tiger prawns are fantastic, Portuguese fillet steak a dream and if you have a sweet tooth, try Pudim Fla

Located next to the traditional village of Moncarapacho halfway between Faro and Tavira just 10 minutes from the nearest beach. The hotel has 55 bedrooms which are all tastefully decorated, spacious and well equipped with modern facilities and amenities. The Restaurant Orangerie provides a wide range of cuisine.
“ Very relaxing hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff are superb! It's a little expensive when there (€40-€50 for lunch with drinks for 2 people) but the quality is decent. The view from the restaurant is superb but the food at the price it is doesnt match expectations.

“ Decor in rooms a bit dated but more than adequate. Much larger rooms than in a hotel in previous years that we paid more for. Close to bars and restaurants in fact a great location.I had a room overlooking the marina with spectacular views from a large balcony.

The Dom Pedro Marina Hotel has a privileged location overlooking the International Yacht Marina and the Atlantic Ocean. An informal and familiar ambience is provided at the hotel. Guests can enjoy the hotel's swimming pool including a Jacuzzi and a separate children's pool whilst sun loungers are available on the beach. Da Pietro Restaurant serves Italian specialities and other outlets include a pool bar and a beach bar.
“ Fabulous scenic views of both beach and marina. Room very clean, tidy and comfortable. Very close the the marina. Reception staff extremely friendly and welcoming, with a sense of humour. Breakfast plentiful, and wide selection. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The Vila Gale Marina is located close to the beach and the stylish marina. All 243 bedrooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with excellent amenities and facilities including air conditioning. Most of the bedrooms also have balconies which overlook the outdoor swimming pool. The hotel also has a restaurant offering a buffet and an a la carte menu and a bar area. Other facilities include indoor swimming pool and health club with gymnasium, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi.
“ We stayed in the hotel with our 2 young children for three nights in mid December. The hotel was very quiet - the first night we were the only people in the restaurant. It is well located, close to the marina and the beach.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Algarve, 3 km from the centre of Albufeira, situated on the coastline overlooking the sea. It is a new top quality resort with a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The hotel is close to many attractions in the area such as casinos, shopping centres, nature parks, water parks and of course the sandy beaches. The hotel is only 35 minutes from Faro International airport.
“ The Baia Grande Hotel was excellent. Staff we very friendly and very willing to help. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Excellent value for money at this time of year. Rooms were very comfortable and clean too. Could not fault it at all. Will certainly want to go back again.
