“ A wonderful hotel in the upper old town of Nazare. The hotel has spectacular views and the breakfast room and the hotel restaurant make the most of them. The buffet breakfast was ample and varied. The restaurant offered an excellent friendly and unobtrusive service with a good range of choices. We took the half-board option which was really good value. The room was spotless and stylish with a lovely bathroom (including bath and shower). There was a modern cable wall TV and heating.Wi-fi internet was free with a fast connection available in the room. Parking is street parking around the old town square. A 15 minute walk down into Nazare -more difficult to walk back up - quite steep. The town of Nazare has a huge golden sand beach and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. Very well-located for exploring the Extremadura historic region by car.
“ Top Tip: Take the funicular train up to the old town of Sitio - it's worth the effort - amazing views of the beach and surrounding countryside. Also it has a historic centre and church and a dramatic lighthouse walk to view the stacks.
