Early 2009, Vila Galé Cascais re-opened its doors after its complete remodelling. It invested in a modern and sophisticated look, with updated and modern infrastructure to align its structure with today’s requirements. The 223 rooms, decorated in warm and welcoming colours, are now equipped with new sleek furniture, mini-bar, 32” LCD TV’s and ADSL connections. The Versátil restaurant with a show cooking island, the Health Club that has two new massage parlours and a sauna, the outside swimming pool and the Maresia Pool Bar with a more comfortable leisure area and the Winners, which has been completely redecorated. We were pleased with the large sea view room that we were allocated and thought it was good value for money. The towels were very thin though and should be replaced for something better in a hotel that styles itself four star.
The location is very good and the breakfast and dinner buffets very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful and everything was very clean.
“ Top Tip: The rustic Santa Maria Esplanade taverna very nearby the hotel served very good food in a great setting.

This was a return visit. Once again it was lovely. Fantastic food - bubbly with breakfast! Friendly efficient staff, Huge, modern rooms. Everything shiny clean.
A leisurely 15 minutes walk into the centre via the marina or around the Citadel walls with an option of across gardens and down steps to cut the corner.
Taxis inexpensive for the later evening back.
“ Top Tip: Arriving by plane. Euro bus to the Lisbon harbour 3.50 euro, stops outside station. Train - Cascais end of line 2.50 euro (15/20 min) Taxi to hotel around 5 euro. Excellent way back Chauffer car direct to airport arranged by hotel 50 euro. A must eat at the little bar/restaurant waters edge on cobbled bridge opposite museum. Eat in square Palm Tree restaurant etc. Visit the music square. Lovely water view cheap drinks/food. Great entertainers, locals and thos from afar!

“ The room was spacious and well set out. The staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast had lots of choices. Overall the Hotel was very good, enjoyed everything about it.
“ Top Tip: Small bar sitting in the rocks overlooking a small inlet located over the small bridge on the way to the centre. great relaxing location.
