Insufficient parking (August) parking outside hotel in Ericeira difficult.
Not all rooms have balcony
Cant use Gym without paying full £7.50 for use of Spa area

Poolside bar snacks not great
Beds not that good - very hard and lumpy mattresses!
Would return just because of great staff and position - Ericeiria and Portuguese people very likeable.

Make sure you try eating in Tik Tak and Tik Tapas - great food, service and value.
Best surfing locally at Ribeira D'ilhas (rocky) and Foz do Lizandro (Sandy)

“ The balconies with sea views are spacious and the views along the coast are amazing. Great stay and would recommend- especially if you can pay the extra for balcony with sea view.
“ Top Tip: Gabriels for lunch - small local restaurant next to the hotel. Barbeque / griddle outside the restaurant cooks various fish, chicken, meat -- very simple, good food at reasonable prices. Popular with locals.

“ Hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were very nice and helpful. Only downside was that there was no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms and the beds were very hard. Unfortunately we could here people talking in next door rooms so maybe a bit of soundproofing wouldn't go amiss!! Other than that it was fine.
“ Top Tip: If you like surfing or a big beach for kids to play go to Foz de la Zandra. It has plenty of eating places on a pier and even does a barbeque at night where you can get fresh barbequed sardines.
