“ Excellent restuarant but expensive .Menu not really suitable for youngsters. Breakfast excellent. Perhaps there is a more flexible menu or a buffet at busier times. All staff friendly and helpful.

Located on the oceanfront, just a few minutes from the centre of Cascais and close to restaurants, bars and shops, the Pestana Cascais Ocean & Conference Aparthotel affords magnificent views of the ocean and gardens. The hotel is surrounded by sun drenched beaches, golf courses, close to the Estoril Casino and Sintra (UNESCO heritage site). Lisbon’s international airport is only 30 km away, with easy access to the Hotel.
“ Hotel is in a nice quiet area and being high up means some great views but if you want a beach then you need to travel a couple of miles down hill where there are some lovely bays. You can hire some free bikes just down the road which is a great idea or the hotel does lay on a free bus to A near by town with beach.

Situated in the centre of Estoril, close to the beach of Tamariz, within walking distance of the largest casino in Europe and near several golf courses. All 126 bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, television, minibar and hairdryer. The hotel features the glamorous Inevitavel steak lounge and the O Divino restaurant. Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and health club with Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, gym and a range of treatments and massages (at a charge).
“ We have stayed at the Vila Gale Ampalius on the Algarve at Xmas and the New Year many times. There is always a special Xmas Eve dinner, Xmas day brunch and at a sister hotel nearby, an excellent New Year's Eve buffet.
