Hotel Malaposta is a small renovated hotel in Porto’s downtown. The 38 comfortable guest rooms are equipped with television, telephone, safety box, private bathroom and are air-conditioned. A full buffet breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room. The hotel offers a lounge with TV, Internet access via Wi-Fi or through a local computer. Main city metro station Trindade is at 5 minutes walking distance, with direct line to Porto’s airport (30 minutes journey). The hotel is surrounded by the main sightseeing attractions such as the Clérigos Tower and Church, Bookshop Lello, Ribeira district and the Port Wine Cellars. Small traditional restaurants and bars invite to taste Portugal’s gastronomy and night life.
“ Stayed 2 nights extremely clean, adequate breakfast from 7.30 till 10.30. Wi-fi not to strong in reception. Close to everything central. Will stop there again. Value for money and very good staff.

“ The Hotel does not look nice where its located , took us by surprise when the taxi drove up to it. AT first its not impressive however we ended up enjoying where we were located.

Housed in a historic building, centrally located right on the Avenida dos Aliados which is less than 20 minutes from the airport and 20 meters from metro station. The hotel offers 2 suites and 41 bright and airy rooms with wooden floors, 19 of which with balcony and city views. All rooms feature antique-style furnishings and marble bathrooms. They are equipped with air conditioning, hairdryer, wireless internet, telephone, radio and 30 channels satellite TV International. To make your stay more complete, Café-Restaurant Guarany, in the same building, serves traditional Portuguese cuisine throughout the day. The hotel also has at its disposal and meeting room, Wi-Fi prepaid, free newspapers, 24 hour reception, lounge, bar and breakfast room. The hotel also has a laundry service, multilingual staff, tourist information, car rental, transfer service from the airport and the public car park 20mts. An ideal place for guests who are looking to stay in the city center.
“ Excellent location near train/metro/bus stops/ stations.Very short walk to River Duro 5mins although longer coming back due to steep hills.Lovely restauant below hotel with regular Fado/music nights.

“ The Teatro was wonderful. Decor magnificent, excellent layout, a bit dark which might be a problem for someone with poor eyesight. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice but that is perhaps a bit English! I have been to plenty of other hotels abroad that don't have them.
