“ Freedom Apartments Cais De Sodre, great place for the younger age group with evening entertainment as there was a bar and disco open underneath the apartments on Fri and Sat evenings, and a couple more night clubs in the street. Had no contact with anyone except the first day to get the code to the apartment, so lacked the personal touch which you would have by booking a hotel

The apartment was central to the train staion, bus terminal, and underground.
Convenient to take the train to Cascais from Cais De Sodre for a day on the beach, and the metro to Rossi station to take the train to Sintra which was well worth visiting.

Irish bar round the corner very good on a Saturday night with a live band

Heidi Bar in Barro Allto, freindly and helpful with local knowledge
