Whilst I appreciate our voucher stated room only, I see that you can book with breakfast at a cheaper price. I've just looked at a new booking for a twin room. I have copied your hotel description. No where does it state that the Recreational facilities are at an extra charge ... why not?
Disappointed on our booking of this hotel due to your description, we are not alone in feeling you information should state that certain things carry an extra charge.

The hotel is very god value. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The restaurant offers a fantastic breakfast and a value for money buffet in the evenings. The staff are friendly and polite.
The hotel is a conference venue and there were several conferences going on during our stay. Unfortunately, there was an event going on in the restaurant on one of the evenings and whilst we were still able to use the restaurant, it felt like we were part of the conference. It would have been nice to have some warning about the PA system and presentation slides being used.
On the whole though, a great hotel - transport right outside the door to the old town and to more outlaying places like Cascais and Sintra. Being under the bridge you would imagine that the noise would be a problem but it really isn't. On the whole a very good hotel - no major complaints.
“ Top Tip: Cascais is fantastic. It's a little fishing port close by and is really pretty with lots of lovely little boutique shops and cafes/restaurants. Beach is also sandy and very clean. A lovely place to spend the day which cost only 4.5Euros return on the train.

“ First room we were in had a door to an adjoining room, walls were paper thin and next to a crying baby! Second room was much better. I liked the location and proximity to nice bars along riverside and pleasant walking to Belem, a must see. Breakfast was fine, plenty of it and variable choice, just not gorgeous. Staff were helpful and rooms were clean. They offered a free wine tasting one eve which I thought was a very nice touch. Did not visist the pool as thought too expensive. This is a shame as would have used it a lot if it had been included. Overall very nice no complaints (once we'd moved!)
