The resort was built in 2001 by a main road and comprises 33 rooms on 3 floors, of which 31 are doubles and 2 are suites. The hotel offers a stylish lobby with a 24-hour reception, as well as a safe, a cloakroom, a lift and a bar. Additional facilities include a restaurant, an Internet terminal, a conference room, a TV room and a games room. Room and laundry services are also available for guests' use. Guests may park their cars either in the hotel car park or in the garage.
“ Modest hotel, always clean and tidy with very helpful staff. Buffet breakfast of good standard. Excellent views from room. Overall excellent value for money.

The Hotel Moniz Sol is located in Porto Moniz town on the northern edge of the island set in beautiful scenery between the clear blue Atlantic Ocean and the ever green mountains. The hotel with its modern style sitting-rooms, decorated with various art pieces is the perfect place to relax and socialize. The Hotel is around 45 km from Madeira’s main city Funchal and 60 km from the airport.
