“ Good hotel friendly helpful staff. if you dont get a balcony room ask, it costs 2.5 euros a day, bargin. Pool ok plenty of sunbeds free even during the day with poolside bar/resturant. Free bus into town for those who don't want to walk the 2Km. Only downside on a hill like everything else in Maderia, only 133 steps upto the door

“ I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was excellent value for money with very good entertainment although the steep hill leading upto the hotel was a bit of a chew. Overall excellent!

“ Hotel was accessed by fairly steep entrance although the older guests seemed to manage (this is mentioned in write-up). Swimming pool was freezing - only 16 degrees - the sea was 20! and although it offered tea/coffee facilities they only provided a kettle at 1.50 euros. However, it was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

“ Top Tip: Most eating places provided very good food but The White House (right next door to the hotel) was excellent with very extensive menu and very reasonable prices.

“ Said it had parking, but not nearly enough. Lifts much too small for amount of rooms and floors. Restaurant closed too early. Apart from that it was OK.
