There were no blinds on the windows, so morning light woke me up.
The swimming pool was of poor hygiene, the water smelled of ponds.

Rooms are big and clean. Hotel is about 3kms out of town but right on a bus line directly into the city centre. We wanted a pool so were prepared to be further out of the city centre.
The reception staff were very helpful and breakfast was great.
Ther health club was a little like entering the twighlight zone and you have to wear a swim cap or the shower cap from your room - not the most attractive way to start the day!
“ Top Tip: Lovely family restaurant. Turn left from hotel and it is right on the cross opposite the traffic lights.

“ Very happy with this hotel bearing in mind it is 3 star and the reasonable rates. Excellent location within walking distance of Porto Cathedral and the spectacular bridge over the Douro River. Batalha Square has a number of cafes/bars were the food is basic but good and very reasonably priced.
