“ Hotel da Bolsa is in a great central location. The rooms although dated are comfortable and clean. The street to the side of the hotel was very noisy & was disturbing at night. The closure style of the hotel room doors also caused distruption during the night with people coming back after a night on the tiles! Breakfasts are cold buffet style and can even squeeze your own orange juice which was a real treat. With all that said, we had a great time in Porto and would recommend the hotel for anyone on a tight budget.
“ Top Tip: A must are the bus sightseeing tours, the bus stops are just 200mtrs away (approx). A boat trip on the Douro & a Port cave tour.

“ Twin room allocated with small window which made room appear dark and gloomy. Ridiculously tiny bath which could only accommodate a child. However, spotlessly clean.

“ Everything was excellent:- postion perfect, very clean, lovely room with a beautiful view. Unfortuately my cat was very ill just before my husband and myself where due to fly, we couldn't both go on holiday and instead my friend came with me which meant a last minute change to a twin rather than a double room the hotel went out of their way to accomadate us. The flights then got changed so we arriving a lot later again the hotel where fine with this and booked us in to a local resturant which served late, which was lovely). The hotel bar was exceptionally reasonable. In short I would recomend this hotel to anyone it was exceptional value and the staff absloutely made it they all seemed genuinely very helpful rather than some hotels where you feel they are just going though the motions. (My cat unfortuately died the night before this holiday and also my birthday! so as you can imagine I was terrible upset but I still managed to have a good break and a lot of this was down to excellent genuine good service)
“ Top Tip: Shopping was so much better then i though, Zara in particuar was excellent value here compared to the UK
