“ Very interesting ground floor, pretty and original. Rooms very clean and quiet couldn't hear any of other guests. Breakfast plentiful and served till 10.30 everyday, bonus ! Food in resturant was best we ate in Porto, shame wasn't busier. Well worth having a meal there. The Vinho Verde at 7 Euros in restaurant was very good value and drinkable for the class of restaurant. I would recommend ringing hotel after booking as we rang week before we went and had mixed our dates up, but was sorted immediately. Very good value.
“ Top Tip: The whole city was very close so plenty of choice and close to metro so trip from airport was a doddle for a few euros.

hotel very good, rooms clean, staff very helpfull. bar very good as well as bar staff. Hotel very central to all shops and restarants and very easy to find by the train from the airport, only 2 euros.
“ Top Tip: Make sure to get your andante travel card at the airport you can top it up as required.

We found the hotel to be clean and smart.
The staff were always happy to help and unfailingly polite.
We only ate breakfast but the food was good, fresh and plentiful.
The bars, sun terrace and general facilities were fine too.

This is a superb hotel. Central to everything, clean, friendly and very helpful staff who pointed us in the direction of everything from supermarkets to bars. I would love to stay here again, the roof terrace is great for late aternoon drinks and sunbathing.
The buffet breakfast is more than your average European snack, topped up regularly and hot food hot.
The rooms are compact, but clean and well mirrored to give a sence of light and more space, loads of storage and a bath in the bathroom is a real plus! Free air conditioning and your usual tv channels. Safes available in rooms.
It is very quiet and you wouldn't know you were in the middle of a big city.
All in all great value for money.

“ Very happy with this hotel bearing in mind it is 3 star and the reasonable rates. Excellent location within walking distance of Porto Cathedral and the spectacular bridge over the Douro River. Batalha Square has a number of cafes/bars were the food is basic but good and very reasonably priced.
