“ Hotel was much nicer than pictures and reviews on the internet. The staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. Room was very clean and modern. Lots of channels available on the TV. Bed very comfortable. Would be nice to have tea & coffee in room. Bathroom was clean and shower good. The soap and shower gel provided smells lovely. Breakfast was fresh and good selection to choose from. Would be nice to have some English tea but coffee was very good. Could improve lighting in restraunt, it was a little dull. Hotel was a fair walk to the old town and nearby shops and restraunts but the bus stops nearby. Over all we had a lovely stay and I would deffinetly recommend the hotel.
“ Top Tip: Get a bus map as this is the easiest way to get around. Must go to the wine caves and try the port.

“ Great Hotel, good sized rooms, very clean and well equiped, Excellent staff, friendly and helpful, excellent buffet breakfast, easy access to public transport and taxis. Although a 20 minute walk from the riverside bars/restaurants it proved a good base for our sightseeing itinerary.
“ Top Tip: El Solar Vinos de Port, the best place in Porto to enjoy a glass of port and sit on the terrace overlooking the Douro Estuary and the Atlantic coast.
