“The hotel was basic but very clean and the staff were very pleasant.The hotel is at the top of a steep street which could prove difficult for people with walking/ breathing difficulties (young or old). We were unable to have breakfast on our last day as we had to leave at 7.15 and breakfast wasn't served until 8am!!! It was approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the Metro station though again it was up hill. I wouldn't return to Porto there wasn't enough to see and do.
“Top Tip:
The open top bus tour was value for money 10 Euros per person and that was to do the 2 tours.

Excellent location within walking distance of Porto Cathedral and the spectacular bridge over the Douro River.
Batalha Square has a number of cafes/bars were the food is basic but good and very reasonably priced.

The plumbing was noisey but the towels were changed every day and although small the room was clean and had daily maid service. Breakfast was limited but adequate. Overall no complaints for the money paid and suitable for the visit requirement.
