Rooms were well appointed but small; adequate for an overnight stay or two but maybe a bit cosy for longer periods. Also, first stay was in a room with opaque window covered by heavy curtain; second had clear glazing but building opposite very close (and ugly) and also heavy curtain, therefore no natural light. Bathrooms were excellent.
Situated on a very busy square; convenient for restaurants but a bit noisy.
check-in / check-out were excellent including keeping luggage, taxi calling, etc.
Very good selection for breakfast.
I would recommend for a night or two.

“ Very happy with this hotel bearing in mind it is 3 star and the reasonable rates. Excellent location within walking distance of Porto Cathedral and the spectacular bridge over the Douro River. Batalha Square has a number of cafes/bars were the food is basic but good and very reasonably priced.

The hotel is part of a group of townhouses dating back to the XVI, XVII, XVIII centuries.
“ Room was fantastic facility wise shame we had no river view Staff were excellent every need was attended to immediately. We would definitely stay there again.

Infante de Sagres is close to the main shopping street, Rua de Santa Catarina and just 10 km from the International Airport. The hotel features a restaurant serving local and international gastronomy of high quality with first class service. The cocktail bar with its cosy atmosphere, is decorated with fine art and offers a selection of drinks for all tastes. There is also a pleasant corner for sunbathing in the centre of Porto. All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with minibar, TV (satellite), direct dial telephone and en suite bathrooms. All the details have been carefully though of in order to provide the comfort and excellence.
“ Excellent entrance and decor. The room was big and cleaned to a high standard every day. My only issue with this 5 star hotel is the service at breakfast. Very unattentive and misarable staff. Not what I expected from a 5 star hotel.
