Exit in Casa da Mesica metro station (HF Tuela Porto is 0.8 km away).By car: Leaving from the Avenida dos Aliados, go up the street until the traffic lights, and turn left to Rua de Ceuta, then entering the Tenel de Ceuta. Once in the tunnel, continue towards Hospital Sto. Antenio. In the exit of the tunnel take the right, passing through the Palecio de Cristal up to Praea da Galiza. At the traffic lights turn left to Rua do Campo Alegre, go up the street passing through HF Ipanema Porto and turn first right (the HF Tuela Porto is 50m away).

“ The hotel catered for our needs. Stayed B&B and the breakfast was more than enough. Bacon , Eggs, Pastries. Very clean and staff helpful. No daytime / evening entertainment or swimming pool / solarium so need to find places to visit. Nice hotel. Very pleased

The Hf Tuela Porto Hotel is clean, modern, and my room was faultless....except for one very important thing - the air conditioning wasn't working, or most probably the hotel was overriding the room thermostats to save money. When the weather in N. Portugal is around 30C it is totally unacceptable for a hotel either to have faulty air conditioning, or to be overriding it. The public areas, reception, bar, landings etc. were all not being cooled adequately.
Had the air conditioning been working I would have rated the Hotel as excellent and certainly very good value for money.

Top Tip:
There's a modern shopping centre next door with an excellent supermarket selling some fantastic (& some rubbish) Spanish wine at well under 1 euro for a litre.
There's a Metro station close by and the Crystal Palace Park & Gardens only 15 mins walk away. The old city centre, river, Dom Louis bridge etc. are about 30mins walk away - but beware steep hills!

“ The deco is slightly dated by it is generally quite clean and comfortable. Suits the basic needs but don't expect too much apart from that. Hence I don't want to pay extra for it. I've checked several websites for prices, and this website offers the cheapest.
“ Top Tip: A shopping mall with restaurants on the top floor and a supermarket at the basement floor is just right next to the hotel!
