This is a large but attractive Hotel on the outskirts of Santiago.Because of it's location, it can seem a little remote and is not well served by public transport. The Hotel does offer a shuttle minibus at various times of the day/evening both into/returning from town.City taxis cost around 8-10 euros each way.If you rent a car be aware that parking in Santiago is not easy to find.
Those staying in the Hotel tend not to be from the UK.The staff are very friendly and welcoming but not all have a very extensive knowledge of english. The food is quite acceptable in terms of bar snacks etc and ranges from that to buffet and restaurant meals.Prices are fairly reasonable. The rooms are clean and well maintained but we did find it a bit noisy at times with guests arriving/departing closing doors etc.
The Hotel has 2 swimming pools that are also well maintained and never really busy.Towels are supplied and sun loungers.
Because the weather can be variable, in this part of the country and the location of the Hotel is not central, be aware that if the weather is bad, then there is little to do unless you travel in to town. The Hotel does offer free use of a PC (3 available) with broadband connection.
All in all a good Hotel which offers good value.
“ Top Tip: The Hotel offers various types of meals ranging from bar snacks to full restaurant dining. Not enough information is supplied initially we felt, so ask what the various alternatives are.For example, the evening buffet is good value.

We loved this hotel. It is very suitable for business conferences, pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela or those who seek peace and relaxation. It also caters for various other such as weddings, communions and parties. However, you would defenitely need a car as public transport is very limited and there is only one decent resterurant nearby, also the cost of taxis into Santiago can prove to be expensive.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding, cleanliness too was of very high standard. Buffet breakfast was good but would not recommend evening buffet. Plenty of lounge areas to relax including a smoking lounge. The room, bathroom and bed were spacious and comfortable. We had a car so transport was not a problem, we found this hotel suited all our needs and enjoyed our nine day stay there.

The only negative comment is that breakfast was a case of getting there early or there was no food left.
All staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean and great location for all historical sites in and around Santiago. Will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
