“ We actually wrote direct to the hotel in Almansa Spain to say how professional and helpful their staff had been. My wife and I wanted to sit together on the aircraft on our outgoing journey the next day and Francisco on Reception booked this for us within two minutes. He in particular, and all his colleagues were extremely helpful and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone because of the kindness of the staff.

“ Top Tip: We found several restaurants serving local speciality food in the town of Almansa. The food was good and reasonably priced with excellent service. Almansa Castle was well worth a visit and the staff very accommodating. The car park in the centre of Almansa in front of the castle was free. If you want to break your journey between Madrid and the Costa Blanca, we would recoommend a stay at your hotel.

“ Hotel was booked as close to where parents live. Very good, very friendly & nice gardens with pool which was a bonus.

Unfortunately the local Spaniards in this area couldn't be bothered to enforce the no smoking indoors rule in spite of the warnings outside.

Breakfast was served in the bar area under a cloud of smoke from the many locals sitting at the bar!! Not good I'm afraid.
