“ Good staff all round. Not in heart of Alicante, but wasn't looking for that. Excellent price for 3 nights. Huge clean beach right near. Quieter rocky beaches at end - beautiful walk to next beach.

The Holiday Inn Alicante is situated in a quiet area of Playa San Juan, just a few minutes away from the beach and 5 km from the centre of Alicante. The hotel has easy access to the local attractions. All 126 bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, television, minibar, safety deposit box and telephone. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool and children's pool, gym, sauna, 2 paddle tennis courts, playground, gardens, parking and free WiFi in all public areas as well as in 50% of rooms.
“ Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean but basic (no balcony/ no tea/coffee making facilities) Whirlpool not functioning, deck chairs collapse and are very uncomfortable. 5 mins walk to Tram stop. 20 mins walk to the Beach.

This hotel is a luxurious hotel surrounded by spacious gardens and a golf course. The hotel has 5 floors and a total of 156 rooms, including 119 doubles, 32 junior suites, 2 suites and 3 rooms adapted for disabled. In the elegant lobby guests are provided with a 24-hour reception desk with currency exchange, safe box, luggage rooms and more services, as well as a lounge, terminals with Internet connection, ADSL wifi zone in public areas and lifts. Younger guests will enjoy the playground. The establishment has a bar-cafe with a roomy lounge and terrace, an exquisite restaurant and 10 events and conference rooms. Moreover the hotel has a Health and Beauty Centre (local charge), where a hairdresser is on offer among other services.
“ Upside ~ Service overall good with most staff speaking English and helpful, particularly if customer's attitude is reasonable. Facilities good - Gym, pool etc.. Wide range of substantial snacks available after meal times in Bar.

This city hotel, freshly renovated in 2002, offers a total of 48 rooms, of which 47 are doubles and 1 is a suite with hot tub. All rooms feature a terrace, looking out over a beautiful and tranquil garden. The hotel provides guests with various facilities and services, including a lobby with reception desk open 24 hours a day, a cafeteria, 24-hour room service, air conditioning and free WLAN Internet access in the rooms and the lobby area. In addition to this the hotel provides free parking for all guests arriving by car.
“ The loo seat was broken, and the shower doors would not shut properly so one of us had to hold on to them while the other showered. The bed was hard. Otherwise we have no complaints and consider the hotel reasonable for the price.
