Nice hotel, close to beach restaurants and sites and public transport. Our room on the second floor had a balcony overlooking Plaza Ayunmiento, the fountains and the castle. Although the bedroom was fairly small, it was modern and very clean with a good bathroom.
Breakfasts were a little disappointing but adequate.
Although not really a 4 star hotel, it represents good value for money and an ideal base for exploring the city of Alicante.
I would use this hotel again.

Top Tip:
Alicante is a great city break destination with plenty to see and do and a nice clean beach. It has an enormous choice of restaurants and bars.
L'Atelier d'Alacant restaurant, C/San Nicolas 12, Casco Antiguo, near the cathedral, serves fantastic food at very reasonable prices. A six course lunch with a glass of wine cost 12 euros. Don't miss it!

second visit, chose the hotel again as the location is fantastic.
Receptionist was very helpful when we arrived and went out of her way to get us the room we wanted.
Only gripe the breakfasts were limited and the tea/coffee out of a machine.

“ In an excellent position to explore alicante very close to beach, marina and night life. Hotel staff were very helpful ,room was well decorated and kept clean .We will stay again when we return to alicante.
“ Top Tip: Use the tram to explore further afield very cheap and easy to use annoucements are in english.
