“ We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is clean and tastefully furnished. The rooms are large and comfortable. I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We had read reviews and asked for two quiet rooms as there is a night club in the hotel. We had to ask to be moved after the first night because our room was too close to the noise. We were moved immediately and the staff were very apologetic.The hotel is well siuated for everything and I would definately return. The staff are so helpful and accomodating.

once again - it was pure heaven staying at this hotel - in fact it is the best and most friendly hotel i have ever stayed at - it was clean - and the staff as usual were so very kind and helpful - to their guests! I have stayed here so many times and look forward to getting there all the time. Very proffesional staff - jose, gloria and all the other staff are wonderful -i forget all the names of the staff but they were all so helpful and always smiling - the restaurant opposite the hotel the monastrel is a gatronomical delight even though it is quite expensive.
if you do stay at this hotel remember that staff work very long hours and i believe the pay rates in spain are not that high so remember to tip the staff well - they are certainly worth it - although they never expect it from you. if you stay at this very well run hotel you will never regret it - it is a little peace of heaven in alicante city centre and only 15 minutes drive from the airport.

We stayed in one of the apartments.
It was great in that it was near the city center and the beach. Everywhere was in walking distance.
The only grumbles would be that it did not have a phone in the apartment to phone reception.
Also, the shampoo was not replenished on a daily basis. This is what we had to go to reception for when it could have been easier to just phone.
All in all it was fabulous! Would definitely stay there again but next time maybe in the hotel itself as the rooms looked lovely and stylish.

“ I didn't think this was a five star hotel but rather a very pretentious hotel. I paid extra for a 'dreamers' room which was a total joke. The room was supposed to encourage sleep and relaxation with books on how to get a better nights sleep. This would have been wonderful if it wasn't for the noise coming from the hotel disco directly above the room at 3am or from the street below as the restraunts closed. I also did not appreciate that non residents had to travel through the hotel in order to get to the disco up by the pool. I was extremely disappointed that after having to call to complain at 3am in the morning that no apology was provided the following day. Definitely not a 5 star and do not pay extra for upgrade!

This hotel is a luxurious hotel surrounded by spacious gardens and a golf course. The hotel has 5 floors and a total of 156 rooms, including 119 doubles, 32 junior suites, 2 suites and 3 rooms adapted for disabled. In the elegant lobby guests are provided with a 24-hour reception desk with currency exchange, safe box, luggage rooms and more services, as well as a lounge, terminals with Internet connection, ADSL wifi zone in public areas and lifts. Younger guests will enjoy the playground. The establishment has a bar-cafe with a roomy lounge and terrace, an exquisite restaurant and 10 events and conference rooms. Moreover the hotel has a Health and Beauty Centre (local charge), where a hairdresser is on offer among other services.
“ Upside ~ Service overall good with most staff speaking English and helpful, particularly if customer's attitude is reasonable. Facilities good - Gym, pool etc.. Wide range of substantial snacks available after meal times in Bar.

Located in the centre of Alicante the Hotel Tryp Ciudad de Alicante is just 100 metres from the beach and the Explanada de Espana Promenade. The bedrooms are all decorated in a comfortable and relaxing way.
“ Very friendly and pleasant staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very good variety of food for breakfast. Only drawback was the noise from outside, we stayed over a weekend and at about 3.30am Sunday morning crowds of teenagers, probably making their way home from a nightclub, were very boisterous outside. Other than that our stay was very pleasant.
