“ Lovely stay, found the staff very friendly and helpful. Only thing that was a problem was the queue for the coffee machine in the morning.

“ We visited for 3 days, and this hotel is a reasonably comfortable base, however I'm not sure it's a 4* hotel - more like a 3*. The hotel's Reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. The carpets in the public areas are dirty and stained, but the rooms themselves have wooden floors and are fairly basic but clean. Breakfast has plenty of fresh fruit available and is adequate (self-service), but don't expect a gourmet experience. We had the strangest chicken salad in the restaurant for lunch one day that we have ever had, and certainly the "chicken" wasn't recognisable as chicken. The pool area is reasonable but the cheap plastic sun beds are the worst and most uncomfortable that I have ever come across in a hotel. The poolside is littered with the sound of collapsing sun beds, and people cursing under their breath. The hotel really needs to do something about this. I am afraid the area itself is the worst of high-rise Spain, and the drive from Alicante airport to the hotel is both fascinating and horrendous in equal measure. The hotel itself is surrounded by high-rise residential buildings and certainly could never be described as attractive, although there is a wonderful stretch of beach here marred by the backdrop of the high-rise architecture. We had some excellent food in some of the local restaurants.

This is a fantastic hotel and the staff are really really helpful, made our stay even more comfortable!! Location is great approx 500yrds to the beach shops restaurants, bars & clubs. Pool area is really clean and well maintained and no problem getting a sun bed!! Hotel restaurant provides good quality food at reasonable prices and again the service is of the very highest standards. One neg. for the bedroom is the TV volume which is set at 10 and no good if you are a little hard of hearing.
The big downside for me is the price I was charged by Travel Republic for my 3 nights (total of 443.98 Euros for a single quad room without breakfast and this was supposed to have included an 86 euro discount.) If I had booked direct with the hotel it would have cost me 242.05 Euros for the three nights and that price was for B&B. Travel Republic state in their business terms "Travel Republic promises you the absolutely lowest prices available - each and every time" I have written to Travel Republic and asked them to explain why the price they charged me is over 80% above the advertised hotel tariff.
“ Top Tip: Book direct with hotel you could save a fortune

“ We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was fine, we had two double beds for a party of 3. There was a minibar in the room, which we emptied to stock up from a local supermarket! However, drinks were reasonable in the hotel bar. The only thing that we would have liked was more english channels on the tv other than sky news, as we had a three year old with us, so early nights! Also the room had no balcony. The pool area was great with many sunbeds. It was really good for toddlers. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of fresh fruit. We did eat in the restaurant one evening and again this was fine. The area is slightly built up but this is a residential area and not a resort. It did not bother us at all, as was really quiet and the locals were lovely people. We had to walk about 10 minutes to the beach....which was an easy stroll. The beach itself was perfect with restaurants/cafebars, as needed. There are two commercial centres a walk away....we enjoy the walks. The tram is very nearby, 1.25euros to Alicante. We took a taxi from airport, which was about 40euros. If you plan you could easily do by bus/tram. I would definately stay at this hotel again. We stayed for 4 nights, as a short break.

Top Tip:
Big supermarket just around the corner! It took us a day to find but only 5 min walk!
