“ The hotel has good facilities, very close proximity to beach front and friendly staff. Our 5 night stay was enjoyable and the breakfast buffet was amazing with so much choice and the sea view from the restraunt was extraordinary. We would definitely stay there again.
“ Top Tip: Regular (every 20 mins) local Bus service to the Alicante airport from virtually outside the Hotel.

The standard hotel gym (no extra charge) is useless and not fit for purpose. The more comprehensive gym in The Wellness Centre, costs 20 euros per visit! The free outdoor swimming pool is small, on a windy upper floor terrace, on a thoroughfare for hotel residents.
Request a room with a sea view, as we were on the marina side, opposite a noisy casino. The music and people could be heard through the closed balcony doors up until 4am when the casino closed.

Hotel is in an excellent position next to the beach and within easy walking distance of the Castle (must visit), Harbour and Alicante old quarter where the best bars, restaurants and museums are located. This is a big hotel and has several room options.
Hotel is friendly and staff helpful; we had a problem with lack of hot water and this got resolved fairly quickly. The breakfast room has a terrific view over the beach and the very good buffet covers the spectrum - open from 7.30am until 10.30am.
We enjoyed our stay here and despite it's size, the hotel has a relaxed feel.
“
Top Tip:
Castle is a must if you like history - take the tunnel opposite the beach to use the lift (under 3 euros) if you want to avoid the slog uphill.
If you are travelling light and want to save money (2.7 euros fixed one way ticket), the C6 bus runs every 20 mins from the end of the level 2 departures area to right outside the Hotel.

“ hotel overall was good, the staff were helpful, most spoke some english, the rooms were cleaned to a satisfactory standard, breakfast was fantastic, noise from building work being carried out at the hotel was annoying, as it started quite early in the morning, but if it has to be done it has to be done, air conditioning was not working very well, bit warm on a night, ok if you were on the beach side, as you could leave the door to the balcony open, but too noisey to do that on the marina side, drinks and food quite expensive, go local to eat and drink.
“ Top Tip: plenty of good bars and restraunts close by in the old town, (the barrio area has a lot and is a busy area).
