“ The hotel was clean and the staff were very good. If anything, I think the hotel could just do with bringing up to date interior wise, as it was clearly tired. There was plenty of food at meal times - if a little repetative, but there was always a different main choice. I would certainly go there again especially for a good base for going out and about from.
“ Top Tip: The theme park Terramitica was close by, as were the beaches at Benidorm, Campello and St Joan all nice places to spend time.

“ The Hotel caters for the spanish holiday maker almost exclusively so not brilliant for the British. The food was very poor with the same breakfast served every day. The rooms were average 2/3 star but all had a lovely view of the beach. Unfortunately the beach was shingle so had to travel several miles to a sandy beach. Would not recommend this hotel and will definately not be going back.
“ Top Tip: The promenade at altea (5 mins walk) very nice and full of great eateries and bars.

“
While being very pretty and close, the beach at the hotel is very stony and difficult to walk on, however, the pool area is very good and there were sunbeds and chairs for everyone. The breakfasts are well presented and fresh. We did not sample the evening meals though.
The reception staff are very good and welcoming.
The pool bar is quite expensive and some of the staff are less than friendly.
The inside bar I have never seen open even after 2 stays there!
The rooms are clean and quite nice I believe all have balconies with chairs and a table.
“
Top Tip:
The Italian restaurant across the road was excellent.
It is about 1k to Altea sea front where there are bar/restaurants in great numbers. Altea town is high on the hill and is also very nice but may need a taxi for those less mobile.

“ For 3star rating, we were pleased with the hotel. Cleaning was average, room equipment good and modern, plenty of space, bathroom in need of upgrading. Receptionists always very heplful, all running smooth. The only objection would be the breakfast. There was no variation at all, but in the view what we paid I cannot really complain. Waitreses working like robots - I do not think they were aware of the guests :( No comunication, no smile, nothing. Dinners were much better, plenty of good food together with sweets, fruit, ice cream etc. Half board was very comfortable - lunch somewhere else to taste the spanish cuisine. Free parking on the hotel grounds. Apart from restaurant personel - pleasant stay.
“ Top Tip: Beach by the hotel was not very nice - concrete + pebbles. It is worth to drive to Calpe, Javea or Denia (miles of sand beaches there). Nice countryside along the seaside. If you try to speak spanish, locals will always appreciate it. Stay away from Benidorm, you may as well stay at home.
