A fantastic Hotel located at the very edge of the up market village of Altea. We were offered a free upgraded room on arrival and were more than pleased with the accommodation. The room was on the top floor with a wonderful sea view, the balcony had its own Jacuzzi bath and the rooms were of an exceptional standard.
Staff were polite and the hotel was kept to a superb standard by the housekeeping team. We were staying on a breakfast only basis and were pleased with the selection of foods on offer from cereals and fruit, to breads and cooked meats. The pool area was well laid out with quality sun loungers and the gardens were well tended. In all a fantastic place to stay, but bear in mind you will need a car to get about.

Top Tip:
Not much happening in the local area in March, but a short car or taxi journey will take you into Altea where you can find lots of smart shops, restaurants and pubs.
A particular favourite of ours for lunch or coffee was "Opera" a small bistro with open air and inside seating near the Altea Marina. The Cellar Bar is good for a swift beer and the barman usually has horse racing or such on the satellite channel.

Good quality 5 star hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Lovely position with sea views. Our superior room was great with jacuzzi bath inside and on balcony. Big room, separate bath and shower, safe. Free wi-fi was a bonus. Outdoor pools not yet heated but it is March and room occupancy was very low. Spa on lower ground floor owned by separate company, charges extra so we didn't use it. Lovely lounge areas with non stop football evenings on TV on one corner.
Breakfasts quite lavish. Ad hoc meals 5 star prices I am afraid.
Overall an excellent hotel in a good position just outside town. Town centre 3 minutes by car or 30 minutes walk.
“ Top Tip: If you really want to splash out, new restaurant Ca JoAn very near has top class food with fabulous beef. Staff could do with a bit of training but really friendly. They don't speak English so that makes it more fun.

“ From the moment we arrived at the reception the staff were fantastic, even parked the car for us. Our room overlooked the pool and was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very polite. The only thing I would say is that you need a car if you want to eat outside the hotel. Other than that it was great.
“ Top Tip: The beach front in Altea has a wide varietyof nice restaurants but you need to drive there.
