This resort, which offers a familiar atmosphere, has a privileged location with superb views of the Mediterranean and Calpe rock (Peeen de Ifach). It offers 170 bungalows spread amongst some traditional buildings. It has a 24-hour reception, snack bar, mini market, buffet-style restaurant, e la carte restaurant, safe deposit boxes (to rent), car park and garage (local charge), spa (local charge) and free shuttle service to Levante beach in Calpe (high season only).The hotel is situated in a very quiet residential area, 3 km from Levante beach and 2 km from the nearest restaurants, bars and shops.The property offers one, two and three-bedroom bungalows. All of them are cosy decorated and come equipped with fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning and heating, American kitchen with refrigerator (without utensils), terrace, phone and satellite TV.The resort offers excellent water facilities. Adults and children can enjoy the leisure zone, which features several swimming pools with waterfalls and a swimming pool for children, equipped with a water games tower and a water chute. During the high season there is an entertainment and activities programme. A modern spa has been recently opened, where the latest relaxation and health treatments can be enjoyed (no children under 16 are permitted at the spa).

“ Hotel beautiful, very scenic views, rather steep hills and lots of steps so not suitable for the elderly and food plentiful but needs to be more choice for the English visitor.

The food wasn't very good, always cold and wasn't much to chose from the salad bar, just lettiuce, tomatoes and potato salad, could have been alot more variety.
In general there wasn't much choice and no vegetables.
I wouldn't recommend any person to stay at this hotel unless the food improved.
The hotel was very clean and tidy, also the service was very good but not suitable for the elderely or young children in pushchairs due to the amount of hills.

“ Top Tip: Do not ask reception to call you a taxi as the taxi charges approx 10 Euros to attend from Calpe. A 5 Euro taxi trip cost 15 Euros when the taxi was called to the hotel.

“ We are a family of four(kids 7and 4) and we stayed the last week of May.We had read different reviews so were slightly apprehensive, however I can reassure potential guests that this is a good standard hotel. The appartments are a good size and clean and all have a fantastic view of the resort of Calpe. We stayed AI and this is good value-the food is good without being fantastic. Our kids loved the pools, they are quiteexeptional. The hotel is some distance from Calpe itself(1.5 miles?) and therefore it is best to hire a car to experince the town of Calpe which is quite beautiful. The Animation Team at the hotel were very good and the children loved them.All in all a very nice stay in a hotel which has a nice feel to it,however it is out of town.
“ Top Tip: The Saturday market is worth a visit, but you must haggle-the prices displayed are an opening gambit.

Built in 1999, this hotel offers a total of 51 rooms spread over 2 floors, of which 2 are singles, 52 are doubles and 36 are apartments/studios. It has a sizeable lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception with a safe, a cafe, a bar, a TV room, an air-conditioned e la carte restaurant with highchairs on request, conference room, as well as an Internet terminal, an Internet terminal, a car park, a garage and a children's play area. A laundry service and room service are also available. The hotel also has a spacious garden.
“ The room smelt of damp and there was damp on the bedroom wall. Bedding was clean but the room was dirty. The washing machine door would not close. The dishwasher would not open. Breakfast and the pools were very good. Okay for three days but would not have stayed for longer.

The hotel was built in 1974 and fully renovated in 2005. It comprises a total of 280 double rooms spread over 7 floors, of which 154 have a terrace. “ The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were really nice and comfortable and the food was excellent. There was entertainment in the evenings that was very good with the spanish and english guests all being catered for. An excellent holiday.

The resort is located 10 minutes from the centre of Denia, and miles of sandy beaches. All bedrooms overlook either the golf course, the majestic mountain of Montgo or the many orange groves. Denia offers a variety of attractions and activities, including water sports, golf and sightseeing along the coast and through the mountains.
“ Been there three years now. The food is Ok but the menu has the same dishes on it as it did three years ago. The Spa Water Experience is Ok, and would be great if it was in full working order. The Team room was broken and the two showers by the pool do not work at all.

“ We would definately recommend these appartments and the area. We are a family with two children aged 13 and 15. We have just come back from a fantastic 2 week holiday. The appartment is very comfortable, well equipped.

The Roca Esmeralda is a modern hotel situated just off the Levante Beach and only 2.5 km from Calpe. Both the port area and the town centre can be reached along the nearby Paseo Maritimo Promenade via the frequent bus service. The hotel has a total of 212 bedrooms all of which are air conditioned and equipped with television, radio, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, fridge and terrace. Facilities at the hotel include a buffet restaurant, an a la carte Grill Restaurant and a snack bar. Leisure facilities include three outdoor swimming pools, a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre.
“ I have stayed at this hotel many times, indeed four times this year,I find it brilliant, the food is wonderful,all the staff are excellent throughout the hotel, clients are mainly Spanish,Belgian, German and French, the food is therefore mainly for the continental palate, delicious, hotel very clean.
