Turmalina Apartments

“ The apartment was VERY basic with a very uncomfortable bed and no form of air conditioning. The shower was broken and there was no fire blanket and we were not given the form that had too be completed to report damages etc. The towels, sheets etc were clean, but i cleaned the floor when we arrived. However, the apartment clock was in an excellent beach side position with views of the rock. We hired a garage for our motorbike, but were charged for 5 days usage when we didn't arrive until after 4pm on the Monday and were told we had to leave by 10am on the Friday - if you pay for a full day you should be able to use it for a full day!

“ Top Tip: Try the chicken satay at The Monkey Bar (Coconuts) - Huge portions, excellent food and really friendly staff.

“ Accommodation is in n excellent location very close to beach and loads of resturants and bars.

“ The Hotels location is fabulous - right on top of Levante Beach. Beautiful views and exceptionally central - easy walk to the port.

It is old though and in need of a refurb. Although clean it is a little 'tired'. But what I can say is that from our point of view from what we need from an apartment - ie somewhere to store our things, get washed and sleep its fine. When you are in Calpe you want to out not stuck in you've got the UK Autumn and Winter for that!

“ Top Tip: The Old Town is still a big draw - there is so much there! Try The Calpe Steakhouse - owned by Richard (German) - the food is to die for!

The Port is vibrant and fun - out favourite place to eat and we have tried most is the Canada Restaurant - second from the end of thre port strip - say Hi to Charlie and the Team from his Newcastle Friends.

And on Levante Beach - Bar Spasso - great food - great views!

But most of all - get out and explore Calpe - we have been 8 times and always find something new - there is something here for everyone and try the Saturday Market brilliant bargains and a fantastic experience

“ This is the third time we have booked at the Turmalina Apartments, each time we use Travel Republic.
We have always been warmly welcomed, and the apartments have been very spacious and clean.
Stroll out of the apartment and you are on the beach, which in its self is second to none.
There are numerous bars and resteraunts along the promenade, which serve to everyones taste.
Cant wait to book again with Travel Republic.

“ Top Tip: Try Coconuts Bar! absolutly fantastic. Come out of the apartments towards the beach. Turn Left and it is a three minute walk. Try the Satay Chicken or the Mega Burger :)!
