“ Enormous monster of a hotel situated on shore line between Guardamar and La Mata. VERY difficult to find entry road which is a slip road close to and heading towards Guardamar - took me hours driving around Guardamar but once you realise that it is NOT in Guardamar it is easily seen on any horizon !
Very well run and friendly . English spoken and wi fi available for a small price. Very good quality rooms . I paid for half board and found the buffet type breakfast and dinner very good. Being alone I liked the possibility of anonymity. The hotel was obviously popular with the elderly Spanish pensioners. Situated on the beach (enjoyed a stroll along after dinner)
Would certainly stay there again - now that I know where to find it !

“ Top Tip: This hotel is not close to any other 'activities' MUST have a car

“ We have stayed at this hotel before. It is clean, with towels being changed
daily and rooms cleaned daily. There is plenty of choice at meal times with
a variety of food, whether it is to everyones taste is another matter. At
times the communial arrears can get very noisey.

“ Top Tip: Just around the corner is a very acceptable restaurant called
Portico Mare. The food is good and reasonably priced, and
the service and amiance of the place second to none.

“ This is a large hotel in a secluded position by a very nice beach with sand dunes, an outdoor and an indoor pool. A car is advisable. The rooms mostly have a sea view and private balcony, are clean and well appointed with a flat screen TV (only a few English channels like BBC World, Sky News etc.). Bathroom is modern. The walls are thin, can often hear neighbours. Food was a very good buffet, good choice, varied each day. We had Half Board drinks included which means wine or water with dinner. Breakfast includes tea, coffee etc. and also a good choice cooked & cold (buffet).
This is one of the best value for money hotels in the area if you don't mind the large size.

“ Just back from a weeks stay at the hotel. It is dated but spotless. The staff are very friendly but very little English spoken as is a predominantly Spanish Hotel.
The variety of food is great but not the hottest tho' they do have microwaves in restaurant so gues they are aware of the problem.
The beach is amazing and dont imagine it gets that busy even in high season .
