We have stayed in this hotel before four years ago, everything was as we expected clean and tidy and the position is within easy walking distance to the beach and prominade.
We feel that due to the exchange rate of the euro people just seem they cant afford to go places like spain its no longer a cheap holiday.
The hotel was nearly empty for the time of year and this reflected in the choice of food, breakfast was very poor and the small set menu for the evening meal was very limited. when we went the first time in march four years ago it was much busier, the town was very quiet also.
you have to feel sorry for the local businesses trying to make a living.

Top Tip:
There is a very nice Indian restaurant close to the hotel worth a look the food was very good.
The beach and prominade is always lovely providing you have good weather and you can sit and watch the world go by.

Guardamar is a Spanish tourist town that although extremely pretty is virtually closed for the winter. There were very few bars or restaurant open and those that were closed at about 9pm.
The hotel is listed as 4 * but is really a 3* . The hotel is very clean but in need of maintenance.
“ Top Tip: the hotel is very well situated in the town at the edge of a lovely park ( with peacocks) and is close to the beautiful clean beach.
