“ The Hotel is in an excellent location, is south facing to catch the sun and faces the blue flag Arenal beach which runs north to south. The hotel is very clean and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. The restaurant has an professional head waiter, serves excellent food, with a good choice in the evening evening (opens 20:00) and an extensive breakfast spread of quality (opens 08:00). The room as a whole was very good and I liked the fact that the room safe was operated by the room door key (no requirement to set it up). The bathroom was a good size and well appointed and the shower was hot and strong. Our only issue was the bed which was not the most comfortable we have slept on.The hotel does have a pool, but too cold to use in February. The gardens both restful and peaceful.
“ Top Tip: Hire a car to visit the Restaurante Masena for a great meal and the Jalon valley to view the Almond blossom trail in February.

“ Top Tip: Just opposite is a restaurant'La Tosca' .Need to book but it is superb around 20 euros a head inc wine!.

“ Have been to the hotel a few times. Always find it very comfortable and clean. My husband was not very keen on the breakfasts however, as they were mainly 'continental', which he doesn't really like. Other than that very good.
“ Top Tip: Beach just over garden wall and lots of lovely restaurants around and about the beach area. So no need to go very far at all.
