“ The room smelt of damp and there was damp on the bedroom wall. Bedding was clean but the room was dirty. The washing machine door would not close. The dishwasher would not open. Breakfast and the pools were very good. Okay for three days but would not have stayed for longer.

“ The staff were very helpful and the room was basic, but clean. The appartments are not really in walking distance of anywhere so unless you have a car you do need to get a taxi everywhere!

“ The room was adequate and cleaned daily which was well received. Breakfast was a buffet style which was limited in choice but not restrictive and children catered for. Upon our arrival the Hotel / Appartments were quiet so reception was not manned twenty four hours which, whilst understandable, remains a little frustrating if you require a taxi after ten o'clock in the evening. The pool and garden area appeared spacious enough for the size of the complex. I walk at a fair speed and the beach was twenty to twenty five minutes away with only villas and roads in between although the hotel has a park right opposite the entrance. Ideal if you wish a quiet place to stay whlist having a lovely bay with restaraunts and bars within a short (10 euro one way) taxi ride.
“ Top Tip: The beach at Xavea was superb with bars and restaraunts to match. The perfect horseshoe shape ideal for families with small children.
