The city of Alicante is 10 km away.All the rooms are spacious with well-designed decoration and are equipped with complete bathroom, hairdryer, minibar (local charge), safe box, free wifi Internet connection, air conditioning and heating. Furthermore, there is a satellite television, telephone and terrace with furniture. The suites additionally have a hot tub on the terrace. The hotel offers laundry service and room service for additional fees.The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool for adults with a children's area, solarium terrace with sun beds and parasols and a lawn area. For children there is entertainment in summer. In the Health and Beauty Centre (local charge) there is a covered pool, outdoor pool, sauna, jet shower, Turkish bath (closed in July), gym and special treatments. For those looking for sporting activities, there is a paddle course and 18-hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros, which is right next to the hotel.Transfer service to the beach is offered in July and August.

“ We had a lovely short golfing break. Hotel and staff very pleasant. Breakfast highly recommended. Mid winter so very quiet. Most bars and restaurants closed or open for only a few hours per day. Tram ran frequently to Alicante town.
“ Top Tip: Food and drink good quality and reasonsably priced at the golf course.

“ Upside ~ Service overall good with most staff speaking English and helpful, particularly if customer's attitude is reasonable. Facilities good - Gym, pool etc.. Wide range of substantial snacks available after meal times in Bar. King size bed utterly massive! Views over lake & golf course from room balcony very lovely. Room clean and well maintained. Parking (both inside & out) plentiful. Area new'ish and clean with beach (half mile) v.good. Alicanti town 8 mins. by car. Airport 15. Downside ~ Breakfast food/plates are luke warm/cold if not taken at opening time though selection of alternatives is good.
“ Top Tip: Bar at small village of Butros (8 mls. north) run by ex-pats and serves full English breakfast between 10 to 3!

“ This hotel was very nice. We visited in September, therefore the hotel was very quiet with few staff. Reception, very helpful. We had a lovely view over the golf course. I can imagine if busy it may get a little noisy, as our room was directly over the bar balcony. However, we did not have any problems. The room was pleasant enough. Would have liked some english channels, other than bbc world news! and a kettle would have been great. We did however take our own. The only little problems we had....we have a toddler, therefore much time would usually be spent in the pool, however it was taken over with ducks. Yes this was nice at first but on second day the pool was full of duck poo! Hence we could not use. It was a shame as lovely area. We did walk to the beach daily - probably a good 15 minute walk. Secondly, a really small gripe but at breakfast the tea, coffee etc was often cold, as these were just jugs left on the side. But as hotel was quiet there was little staff at breakfast. I think as it was September, the hotel had an overall lack of warmth/friendliness but this was not hotel fault. Just the time of year. We really like San Juan, beach is beautiful. Not recommended if wanting lively break.
“ Top Tip: We did not realise that to the side of the hotel there is a little complex of bars (small) but nice and relaxing. As we now know San Juan we do often walk towards the beach for bars. Enjoy the Spanish culture!

“ Breakfast at this hotel was extremely poor. It was by far the worst we have had in a hotel for years. We are not surprised that this hotel has lost a star and is now a 4 star. We feel that we paid for a 5 star hotel and most certainly didn't get what we paid for. I have never been at a hotel that ran out of tea bags. We were simply told that they were sorry but that was it. We couldn't have a cup of tea for breakfast.
“ Top Tip: The golf club opposite the hotel served very good food.
