The Best Mojacar is a new deluxe and comfortable hotel opened in 2000. It is the ideal choice for families and couples looking for an exceptional holiday. It has 24-hours reception, lift, TV room, hairdresser, shop and 2 restaurants: the first one with buffet service for breakfast and dinner with show cooking. The second one, called "Salon Azul", is for private events. Also, there is an indoor lunch snack-bar with life music and entertainment in summer.Hotel located on the northern outskirts of the Andalusian town of Mojecar, just 50 m from the beach and 200 m from the Marina Golf course. The centre of Mojacar, with its numerous bars, restaurants, clubs and shopping venues is less than 3 km away. Public transport is found approx. 50 m away.The spacious rooms are equipped with 2 queen size beds, a complete bathroom with hairdryer, central heating, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, optional safety box payment and an ample terrace with sea, lateral or urbanization views. Air conditioning is available from June, 1st to September, 30th.There is a large outdoor swimming pool with separate children's area, poolside snack bar, a sunbathing terrace with sun beds and parasols, and a gym. With an additional fee, the hotel offers whirlpool, sauna, solarium, steam bath, Scottish shower, a professional massage service and other Spa services. There is a seasonal entertainment programme. Other leisure options include tennis, table tennis and billiards. There is a golf course only few steps from the hotel (guests have green fee discounts).The air condition runs from 01.06 to 30.09 and central heating is available depending on the weather condition and hotel criteria. The are no extra bed available in rooms. Well dressed compulsory in the restaurant for dinner.

“ Couldn't fault the hotel, large rooms with fridge and hairdryer and towels changed daily, if requested. Dining room very clean and the choice of food fantastic.
“ Top Tip: Bars and restaurants not too far away, but advisable to get the local bus either into Garrucha or Mojacar village, which only cost 1 euro per trip.

“ My husband and I are in our 60's and found the hotel both very clean and quiet. We had one or two minor problems when we arrived but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Most of the staff were very friendly with the exception of the bar staff who would serve their spanish guests before the English if we did not push forward. We also felt the bar was understaffed most of the time and we had to wait anything up to 10 mins to get served. Food was good generally but towards the end of the week was a bit repetitive. Not a lot to do in the area once we had visited the nearby towns but all the same we would thoroughly recommend it. Entertainment was aimed mainly at the spanish but we can understand this as the English were in the minority.
“ Top Tip: Go to Garrucha around 4.30 in the afternoon to see the fishing boats come in and their catch being sold immediately at the fish auction on the dock side, very interesting.

“ Extremely orientated for looking after spanish people on there holidays,but i think the whole of costa almeria is this way.English is very much a second language,but haveing 3 previous holidays in roquetas,we knew wot to expect. The entertainment at nite was allways in spanish,with no effort to communicate in english.( I am aware we were in spain..?) The snack bar was a very poor affair, u ordered from the main bar,and it arrived on a paper plate...supposedly 4*....and was not appetising or edible...the main restraunt was very good..plenty of choices of everything. The room was very good,carpeted throughout as was all public walkways,towels changed as u wished..and kept very clean all week. The location is just across from a shingely,sandy beach. Overhaul would i go back... yes....??

“ The hotel is of a good standard and next to the beach. It does not have any restaurants or bars nearby, these are a 20 min walk away. But is good if you want a relaxing stay in the sun.
