This is pretty much what you'd expect from a 4star city hotel. Hotel was in a great location, however the room requests made when booking this hotel were totally ignored, which was very disappointing given it was a surprise birthday present.
The room we were given was really very small and dark and having requested a non-smoking room were given a smoking room on a smoking floor (not ideal when one of you is asthmatic)! I'd stay here again but only if I got a better room (apparently the double rooms are bigger)!

The Eurostars Laietana Palace is located in the Gothic Quarter only a short walk away from the port, the Ramblas and the Cathedral. The hotel has 62 bedrooms which are all tastefully furnished and well equipped with modern facilities and amenities including air conditioning whilst some of them have windows in the ceiling. The hotel also provides a coffee bar, buffet breakfast and bar area.
“ Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Dining room in basement - not worth paying extra for 'hot breakfast'. Room adequate for a few days, but wardrobe space minimal. Busy street, but reasonably quiet during night. Clean hotel. Helpful staff. Convenient location.
