“ Top Tip: Hotel not easy to find and name changed to Catalonia Nord

“ hotel we booked when we arrived said they had overbooked and they were moving us. to be fair we were moved to a better hotel on Las Ramblas but as we were only in Barcelona one night advance warning would have been nice as we lost about 2 hours finding the first hotel and then moving to the second!

Dear Sir
My wife and I returned from a city break in barcelona ( booked through yourselves)and stayed at the above hotel EUF/2632477.
The main reason we chose this hotel was because you stated the hotel had a pool ( picture).
The hotel does not have a pool and never had one!.
I shall be grateful for your comments before I pursue this matter further.

“ This hotel is great - staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was spacious and really clean. If you like a big breakfast it's well worth booking the inclusive price - there was a fantastic choice - anything you could want. Only one minus - rooms facing the street can be noisy if you like your window open at night. Also the building opposite is being renovated at the moment - work starts quite early so if you need to sleep in ask for a room at the back if you want quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this hotel.

“ Top Tip: The road this hotel is in has lots of little local clothes shops, grocers, bakeries and bars which are great for things you might need when out and about. Not far to walk to the Cathedral and more touristy spots. Fantastic location.
