Great Hotel, new refurbished. No tea of coffee in room, but water available in fridge near by. Breakfast is plentiful but no bar at night, but plenty near by (two doors away).

Top Tip: Great Restaurant two doors away.
Catch Aerobus (6 Euro each) to City Centre (by the big Bank houses and fountains), then Bus 58 to outside Hotel (2 Euro each). Or Taxis for 4 for around 29 Euro.

The hotel was very well situated for our stay. It was exceptional value for money. The rooms were very modern and well presented. The staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming.

Top Tip: We found a superb bistro/cafe round the corner from our hotel ( Travessera de Gracia). Breakfast was excellent. There is also a Starbucks within walking distance. For a tasty special evening meal try 'Velodromo' bar/restaurant (Carrer de Muntaner)

Good location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, complimentary bottled water and free internet... Enough said :)

Top Tip: The Meatpacking Bistro (around the corner) is a gem, especially if you're too tired to venture further afield at night. There is also a supermarket across the street if money gets tight!

Good

Check-in date:

The hotel is spotless and well maintained, we didn't eat there so can't comment about the food, all the staff are most helpful, gave us quite a lot of information when we arrived and let us leave our luggage after checking out due to a late afternoon flight home. Our room was very nice with a balcony but not much of a view as we asked for a quiet room which was at the back of the hotel. Now the down side, it's very difficult to find if you use the hotels instructions and not bother with a taxi, the free bottled water soon ran out and the fridges not replenished that often. if you decide not to eat at the hotel there are plenty of bakeries and a Starbucks coffee shop near by. It's quite a walk from the main attractions and a T10 travel ticket and bus route is a must.

Top Tip: A travel ticket is a must for travelling around Barcelona but stay on the buses, you will need a bus route leaflet and it's very easy to follow no need for a time table as they are about every 10 mins or so. Be very careful on the metro as i had a hand in my pocket which wasn't mine! there are plenty of bars and eating places around the hotel and a lot of banking facilities in the area all with ATM. there are a couple of night clubs close by to the hotel but these didn't stay open that late but may do in the high season.
