“ I've stayed at this hotel before and nothing as changed , the staff are very friendly and helpful . The hot buffet breakfast is a good way to set your day off.

“ Top Tip: Their are plenty of small bars around the area , its only 15 mins on metro to city centre and 120 mins walk to the Camp Nou (Barcelona fc )

“ The hotel was a very good 4 star apartment-hotel and was well worth the reasonable price paid for it! The rooms were very big and had a seperate seating/television area, reasonable size kitchenette and bathroom. Was ideal for short stay but could also be used for longer stays. The accomodation was less than 15 minute walk from the Camp Nou - home of Barcelona FC, and is ideal for visiting club supporters as it was on the main route out of the ground afterwards.

“ we stayed in the Atenea in early August and found it to be an excellent hotel.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English.The rooms were large and well appointed with a small separate kitchenette.The rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily with fresh towels daily.Although the hotel is not in the central tourist area there is a metro station just 5 mins down the street and you could be on the Ramblas within 10 mins. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value for money stay in Barcelona, and for football fans its only 15 mins walk to the Nou Camp.

“ Top Tip: For any Harley Davidson enthusiasts there is a specialist bike shop literally next door and a lot of Harley enthusiasts from around Europe seem to go there.
